==========================  R*E*A*D**M*E  ==========================
==================================================================
A big fat thanks to all those who participated in a positive way to help this indicator along.
==================================================================
The Zip folder should contain:
1) TSSv1_2    T he S imple S ystem main indicator. draws arrows
2) OT3MAV3_1   Refrenced ingicator
3) CandleTime Gives countdown to close of bar 0.
4) A Clock Utility you will find useful

Unzip the files and put them in the Indicators Folder of your MT4 platform. Use the included
compiled file or compile your own and attach to a chart . Time frames H1, H4, D1 may be used.

The algorithm breaks down on shorter TF's. It is virtually useless on M1, M5, M15 etc TF's.

Further down the road I hope to filter "weak" arrows i.e arrows whose angles are very shallow.
Then a further filter according to the current trend, I am still looking for a reliable non lagging trend indicator. Bollinger Bands may play a role too, we'll see how it goes. I hope to just keep on building on this indicator until it is accurate and reliable.

Parameters P0 and P1:
===============

P0 and P1 are two points on the OT3MA indicator where you want to calculate the slope of that indicator. P0=0 and P1=1 will give you the current slope for bar 0. If you want the slope for other regions on that indicator, simply put for P0 the start of the slope say 25 ( i.e. 25 bars from left). For P1 you can choose the next bar, bar 26 or any other bar to the left of P0, say bar 29.

So P0 and P1 will be 25 and 29 respectively. Please note, this will be the average slope. On a curved line its best to choose smaller intervals like 25,26 or 15,16 for P0 and P1.

All this ofcourse relates to the aggressiveness of the trend, a steep slope ( large numb) means a better chance of the trend continuing. A shallow slope indicates a ranging market and a time to be extra cautious.

Good Luck!

Cheers ,

REVISION HISTORY.

TSSv1.0 First issue as TSS previously called STOCH-ALARM3x extensive changes were made by variuous contributors.
TSSv1.1 Some bugs found by pips4life and jam and fixed issued 8 May 2007. Posted by Antra.
TSSv1_2 Chandra fixed some bugs in the mail message part of the code and added a "strength" parameter.
The strength parameter is entered from the params window as Pips. Zero strength means no filtering all arrows shown, weak and strong alike. A higher number e.g. 1.5 means that the slope of the OT3MA indicator forming the peak/\ or valley \/ for an arrow will be at least 1.5 Pips per period. This will filter out weaker arrows. A very high number e.g. 10 will wipe ALL arrows. The higher the Time frame the higher the strength must be to have the same effect of wiping out weak arrows.

As a suggestion, attach the TSS indicator to a chart, then add OT3MA 15,0.8 as a visual trend tracker on a chart with TF H1, or H4, or D1. Chandra says that lower TF's are usable. You may try them if you wish. Stop losses and TP's are larger on longer TF's So you must allow for that. Use Parabolic SAR as a guide for stops. Take Profit will depend on how greedy you are, More greed will require larger TP's!

Down the road, I hope to include the long promised trend filter which will wipe out up arrows in a confirmed downtrend, and vice versa.
